Cosmic mage – Deciphering the Imagery of Icelandic Myth

Cosmic Image
– Deciphering the Landscape in Icelandic Myth

The book *Cosmic Image* concerns a sundial discovered by Einar Pálsson in the Rangárvellir region—a device also described in *Njál's Saga*. This sundial tracked the changing seasons and served as a calendar; it provided the ancients with a specific cosmological model—a framework of defined dimensions— laid out across the landscape during the Settlement era. Based on the oldest structures, this sundial—this cosmological model—is estimated to date back thousands of years.
The book presents findings from research by Pétur Halldórsson on similar cosmological models, which he has identified in various locations around the world, including Europe, Africa, and North America.
